The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to the LGBTQ community. It serves diverse communities across the country and takes an intersectional approach to support mental health. They are available to connect and have also provided a list of tips to support yourself and to care for the Black LGBTQ young people in your lives.

Vice has vetted and supplied us with a list of helpful organizations who are specifically, supporting black trans lives. — As recent murders of Dominique “Rem’mie” Fells and Riah Milton make headlines, advocates are renewing their call to end violence against transgender people.

New York Magazine compiled and vetted 115 support funds for anyone with the means and interest in donating as a form of taking action. The list features memorial funds for those lost like George Floyd and Breonna Taylor as well as bail funds for protestors, education platforms like the color of change, policy reform like that of Black Lives Matter, and many more.

Campaign Zero and the 8 Can’t Wait are organizations designed to reduce the chances of altercations turned deaths in our police force. They focus on eliminating practices like choke holds and brute force and focusing on the improvement of community interactions to improve the overall health of society.
