2026 Pride on The Plaza Queer Music and Arts Festival

• Sonoma Valley Pride celebrates inclusion and diversity, and we are proud to announce that our Stage event on Sunday June 14^th will feature ASL for greater access to the deaf community.  There will be a 3 hour line up of music and speakers to enjoy and ASL will be provided throughout.

Sonoma Valley Pride returns to the heart of Sonoma for our biggest Plaza celebration yet.

Join us on the historic Sonoma Plaza for an afternoon of community, celebration, and Pride — this year with more space, a bigger stage, and even more queer joy to experience. This free, shaded, open-air festival brings together live music, inspiring speakers, local artists and makers, food, wine, family-friendly activities, and community connection in the center of Sonoma Valley.

Bring your friends, your family, your chosen family, a blanket for the lawn, and settle in for an afternoon that is joyful, meaningful, and rooted in the power of showing up together.

As part of our 2026 theme, We Rise With Pride, this year’s Plaza Festival is a celebration of visibility, resilience, creativity, and belonging. Pride is more than one day on the calendar — it is a reminder that our stories, our art, our families, and our communities deserve to be seen, celebrated, and protected.

Festival Highlights

Live Music & Performances

Enjoy a joyful lineup of live music and performances throughout the afternoon on our bigger festival stage, featuring local and regional talent including Niko Storment, Sue Albano and the Scarlet Letters, Dylan Smith, Transcendence Theatre Company, and a special dressed-down set from J. Graves, bringing queer indie rock energy to the heart of Sonoma.

Community Speakers

Hear from LGBTQ+ leaders like Honey Mahogany, youth voices from our local GSA, elected officials, and advocates sharing messages of visibility, belonging, resilience, and Pride.

Queer Artists, Makers & Local Vendors

Browse a vibrant mix of local queer and ally artists, makers, and creative vendors, including artists like Ray Kaplan with glass art, Nicola Bilger with clothing and art, Sonoma Coastal Studio with coastal-inspired designs, Rosa Perez with Pride-ready press-on nails and lashes, and Natassia Valjean with crystals and other expressive goods.

Guests can shop handmade pieces, discover local creativity, and take home something joyful from the celebration.

Family-Friendly Activities

Families and kids can enjoy hands-on art activities with Art Escape, LGBTQ+ storytelling and book browsing with Sonoma Valley Librarian Miss Kim and Bailey Rhude, face painting with Claudia Ramirez, and creative spaces designed for all ages.

Food, Wine, Coffee & Local Flavor

Enjoy food, wine, coffee, and local treats throughout the afternoon, including Costa’s Tacos, Mary’s Hot Dogs, Corner Bakehouse, Equator Coffee, and wine from local favorites Pangloss Cellars, Sixteen 600, and Capo Isetta.

Photo Moments & Pride Fun

Step into the joy with the Sonoma County Dyke March photo booth, featuring costumes, playful props, and a chance to capture your Pride moment while learning more about the first Sonoma County Dyke March.

The beloved Church Ladies for Queer Rights will also be onsite and ready for photos, fun, and plenty of community spirit.

Community Organizations & Resources

Connect with local organizations and community partners including Professionals with Pride, Sonoma Valley Mentoring Alliance, Wake UP Sonoma, LGBTQ Seniors of Vintage House, Sonoma Valley High School GSA, Sonoma Community Center, and Face to Face.

These groups help create support, visibility, connection, and belonging for LGBTQ+ people, youth, seniors, families, artists, and small businesses across Sonoma Valley and Sonoma County.
