Volunteer for Sonoma Valley Pride Events
Sonoma Valley Pride is looking for volunteers to help bring our June Pride celebration events to life.
Whether you’re part of the LGBTQIA+ community, an ally, a student, a neighbor, or someone who simply believes in building a more welcoming Sonoma Valley, we’d love to have you join us.

Volunteers play a meaningful role in helping our events feel organized, inclusive, beautiful, and welcoming. From greeting guests to decorating spaces to helping things run smoothly behind the scenes, every role helps create a safer and more joyful experience for our community.
Volunteer Opportunities
This year, we’re celebrating queer joy, visibility, and community across three events in Sonoma Valley — and we need the support of our community to make it all happen. We are looking for support at all three Sonoma Valley Pride weekend events:
Friday: Rise with Pride Concert & Drag Show
Approximate volunteer time: 6:00–10:00 PM
Saturday: Pride Dance Party
Approximate volunteer time: 6:00–10:00 PM
Sunday: Pride Festival in the Plaza
Volunteer shifts available between 11:00 AM–6:00 PM
Shifts are approximately 2–4 hours
Volunteer tasks may include:
- Helping decorate event spaces
- Checking in attendees and taking tickets
- Directing guests and activity flow
- Running small errands during the event
- Supporting vendors, performers, or event organizers
- Helping with Set-up, break-down, and cleanup during and after festivities
- Being a welcoming presence for attendees
No special experience is needed — just a willingness to show up, help out, and be part of the team.
